BRTS corridor to be extended to Ghuma, Ranip to get new railway over bridge

BRTS buses in Ahmedabad will travel upto Ghuma in future. The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has taken a decision to extend BRTS route in Western Ahmedabad upto Ghuma. Earlier plan was to end the BRTS route at Sardar Patel ring road near Ambli.
At present ISKCON – Bopal and Nehrunagar – LD Engineering are two major routes under construction.
Meanwhile Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation is all set to approve the work of new Ranip-old Ranji railway over bridge this Friday in Standing Committee meeting. A new bridge will come up over Sabarmati-Chandlodia railway line in Ranip, just next to Gujarat Steel Tube.
