Ahmedabad to get in-house lab for road, bridge material testing

Ahmedabad: Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) will set up an advanced material testing laboratory at its Piplaj plant at a cost of ₹2.74 crore to ensure the quality of materials used in city projects, including roads and bridges. The new facility will conduct around 65 different tests on various construction materials, including bitumen and asphalt. AMC announces free BRTS travel for seniors above 65, specially abled

Ahmedabad: The Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has extended free BRTS bus travel to all senior citizens aged 65 and above, as well as specially abled individuals. Earlier, only people above 75 years of age were eligible, and specially abled commuters used to get a 40% fare concession. Now, both groups will be eligible to completely free travel.
