“I received it on WhatsApp and shared online,I have removed it and apologised to Mr. Bachchan”

Dr. Utpal Jivrajani who is projected as maker of video featuring Narendra Modi with Amitabh Bachchan’s voice by section of media spoke to DeshGujarat on phone today afternoon.

“I had just posted the video on Youtube, I have no other role in this episode,” he said.

“I received the video on WhatsApp and shared it on Youtube,” he added.

‘I am being contacted by various news channels since morning. I apologized to Mr. Bachchan during live telecast on news channel for posting the video on Yotube,” he further added.

“I am told that I may face arrest. I am at Mumbai for song recording. I have to follow the studio schedule today, but tomorrow I will address a press conference and formally apologize as Mr. Modi has wished in his tweet. I have already deleted the video I uploaded on Youtube,” he said.

It is interesting to note that Rajkot based Dr. Utpal is known as master of spoof. Years back he made a Gujarati version of Shakira’s Olympic song which was very popular. Similarly he gave music in Gujarati comedy film based on super-hit Hindi film Sholey.

This time the spoof that he claims he has not made but just shared has attracted national attention following Shri Amiabh Bachchan’s blog post and tweet.
