Gujarat govt announces wider options for GSPC gas bill payment

According to an announcement made today by power minister Shri Saurabh Patel, the consumers of GSPC gas company in Gujarat will now be able to pay their bills through wider variety of options.
GSPC home gas connection users will now be able to pay their bill through post offices, SBI branches, E-gram centers, cooperative banks, cheque drop boxes and online bill payment service.
GSPC’s 796 collection centers will function in seven zones namely Navsari, Valsad, Surendranagar, Morbi, Rajkot, Nadiad and Gandhinagar. This includes 410 E-gram centers, 123 branches of SBI, 179 post offices, 35 branches of cooperative banks and 49 drop boxes.
The minister said that 4.50 lakh gas consumers will now be able to pay bills through post offices thanks to state government’s MoU with post and telegram department. In total 179 post offices will accept GSPC gas bill payments.
Thanks to MoU with Bharatiya State Bank (SBI) , consumers will be able to pay their bills at 123 branches. Online payment option is available at www.gspcgas.com website.
