AMC to start Nagaryatra for senior citizens

The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation(AMC) will organize ward-wise senior citizens nagar yatras starting from 20th November.
Senior citizens of each ward will be taken to Gandhi ashram, river front park an Kankaria lake front in buses during yatra. Senior citizens will need to walk to their ward office on particular date allotted to their ward at 4.00 pm.
AMC has allotted special budget to this cause. The first such yatra will be flagged off by Revenue minister at 5.00 pm on 20th November from Mansi circle, satellite. It will cover Ghatlodia, Jodhpur, Thaltej and Bodakdev wards.
