Ahmedabad, 26 November 2013
A group of local Congress party workers today protested poor condition of mural at Usmanpura under bridge featuring Sardar Patel. A skeleton-like looking bizarre and whimsical mural work was done a few years back by School of Architecture’s Rajesh Sagra on order of then municipal commissioner Tripathi. AMC had spent huge money after this mural work. Some characters of mural writing are missing. Sardar Patel’s shape and other parts of mural look very bad. AMC needs to correct the entire installation starting from zero.
