Ahmedabad, 24 December 2013
Karnavati Club Secretary Girish Dani today released CCTV footage of yesterday’s scuffle at club between his group and Ajay Patel group after AGM.
Dani tried to prove that his group had not attacked the members of Ajay Patel group. However questions were raised by reporters that why Dani didn’t release the tapes yesterday itself, and why the tapes are edited and selective!
Contrary to Dani’s counter complaint against club member Rajesh Brahmbhatt, the CCTV footage fails to show that Brahmbhatt was involved in any offensive act!
When asked, Dani replied that he had to file complaint only after Rajesh Brahmbhatt filed complaint of attack and loot of golden chain against his group members.
Dani said those involved in scuffle will be given show case notice and steps will be taken again them as per the decision taken in board.
Meanwhile, Sarkhej police has not taken any action in this case, apparently because it involves high-profile class of people.
