Vipul Chaudhary fails to get relief from court again

A division bench of Gujarat High Court today refused to give any relief to Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation(GCMMF) Chairman Vipul Chaudhary. Following are the details of the entire episode. Highlighted are today’s developments.
-Majority of GCMMF board members wanted to hold meeting to remove Vipul Chaudhary through no confidence motion.
-Chaudhary went to court against proposed meeting.
-The court gave stay against board meeting.
-The court later allowed a meeting and also allowed no-confidence-motion, but asked not to implement it without court permission.
-The board meeting was held and no-confidence-motion was passed with overwhelming majority.
-GCMMF board sought court’s permission to implement the motion.
-Single Judge bench allowed execution of board decision, but stayed it till 11 January as Chaudhary wanted to challenge the decision in division bench.
-Chaudhary challenged the decision in division bench.
-Division bench today rejected Chaudhary’s plea and upheld single judge’s order.
-Chaudhary sought to extend stay against execution of single judge verdict for 10 more days. Division bench rejected Chaudhary’s plea in this regard.
Next: Vipul Chaudhary may go to Supreme Court today or tomorrow itself, or may simply end his legal fight here and now.
