Gujarat govt promotes five IAS officers

The Gujarat government has today announced promoted four IAS officers to Principal Secretary rank. They are continued on same post. The officers are:
R. Bannerji(IAS 1979), CEO, Gujarat Disaster Management Authority, Gandhinagar
Pankaj Jshi(IAS 1989), Joint Secretary to Government of India, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, New Delhi
Srinivas Katikithala(IAS 1989), Secretary to Government, General Administration department(personnel), Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar.
Amrendra Kumar Rakesh(IAS 1989), Development Commissioner, Gandhinagar
In another decision taken today, Vijay Nehra(RR-Guj-2001) Joint Secretary to Government of Gujarat in Chief Minister’s office, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar has been redesignated as “Additional Joint Secretary” with the effect from 1 January 2014. Nehra has been granted the selection grade of IAS. Nehra was previously the Collector of Ahmedabad district.
