Gujarat Govt Transfers 17 IAS Officers

Gandhinagar: The Gujarat government, in a major administrative reshuffle, has transferred 17 IAS officers, with changes across district administration, rural development, information, industries, sports and other departments. With the latest transfers, three districts, namely Mehsana, Anand and Vav-Tharad, get new district collectors.

Here is the list of IAS officers transferred as per the General Administration Department of the state government:

(1) Alok Kumar Pandey, IAS (RR:GJ:2006), Secretary, Tribal Development Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar would hold additional charge of the post of Commissioner of Relief and Ex-officio Secretary to Government, Revenue Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar until further orders relieving Gaurangbhai H. Makwana, IAS of additional charge of that post.

(2) G.T. Pandya, IAS (Selection:GJ:2011), Additional Secretary to Government, Education Department, Gandhinagar is transferred and appointed as Director of Information, Gandhinagar.

(3) Gaurangbhai H. Makwana, IAS (RR:GJ:2012), Managing Director, Uttar Gujarat Vij Company Ltd. (UGVCL), Mehsana would hold additional charge of the post of Managing Director, iNDEXT-B, Gandhinagar until further orders.

(4) S. K. Prajapati, IAS (SCS:GJ:2012), Collector, Mehsana is transferred and appointed as Additional Rural Development Commissioner, Commissionerate of Rural Development, Gandhinagar relieving V.K. Jadav, IAS of additional charge of that post.

(5) Dr. Harshit Pruthwiraj Gosavi, IAS (RR:GJ:2013), Additional Secretary to Government (Law & Order), Home Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar is transferred and appointed as Collector, Mehsana vice S. K. Prajapati, IAS transferred.

(6) Praveen Chaudhary, IAS (RR:GJ:2014), Collector, Anand is transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of Industries and Mines Department for appointment as Chief Executive Officer, Special Project (Dholera SIR & Mandal-Bechraji SIR), Gandhinagar relieving Dr. Kuldeep Arya, IAS of additional charge of that post.

(7) M. J. Dave, IAS (SCS:GJ:2014), District Development Officer, Banaskantha – Palanpur is transferred and appointed as Collector Vav-Tharad relieving Kalpesh Kumar Sharma, IAS of additional charge of that post.

(8) Utsav Gautam, IAS (RR:GJ:2018), District Development Officer, Kutch-Bhuj is transferred and appointed as Collector, Anand vice Praveen Chaudhary, IAS transferred.

(9) C.C.Kotak, IAS (SCS:GJ:2018), Deputy Director General, Sardar Patel Institute of Public Administration (SPIPA), Ahmedabad is transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of Panchayats, Rural Housing & Rural Development Department for appointment as Special Director, State Institute of Rural Development (SIRD), Ahmedabad relieving V. N. Shah, IAS of additional charge of that post.

(10) Ram Niwas Bugalia, IAS (RR:GJ:2019), District Development Officer, Tapi is transferred and appointed as District Development Officer, Banaskantha – Palanpur vice M. J. Dave, IAS transferred.

(11) Atirag Chaplot, IAS (RR:GJ:2019), District Development Officer, Valsad is transferred and appointed as District Development Officer, Kutch-Bhuj vice Utsav Gautam, IAS transferred.

(12) Sachin Kumar, IAS (RR:GJ:2019), District Development Officer, Chhotaudepur is transferred and appointed as Deputy Secretary to Government (Law & Order), Home Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar vice Dr. Harshit Pruthwiraj Gosavi, IAS transferred.

(13) Ms. Vandana Meena, IAS (RR:GJ:2022), Project Administrator, Tribal Area Sub Plan, Mahisagar is transferred and appointed as District Development Officer, Valsad vice Atirag Chaplot, IAS transferred.

(14) Rajesh Kumar Mourya, IAS (RR:GJ:2022), Project Administrator, Tribal Area Sub Plan, Songadh, Dist. Tapi is transferred and appointed as District Development Officer, Amreli relieving K.J.Jadeja, GAS (Senior Scale) of additional charge of that post.

(15) Swapnil Mahadeo Sisle, IAS (RR:GJ:2022), Project Administrator, Tribal Area Sub Plan, Vansada, Dist.Navsari is transferred and appointed as District Development Officer, Tapi vice Ram Niwas Bugalia, IAS transferred.

(16) Omkar Rajendra Shinde, IAS (RR:GJ:2022), Project Administrator, Tribal Area Sub Plan, Chhotaudepur is transferred and appointed as District Development Officer, Chhotaudepur vice Sachin Kumar, IAS transferred.

(17) B.N. Patel, IAS (SCS:GJ:2022), Executive Director, Gujarat Gas Limited, Gandhinagar is transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of Sports, Youth & Cultural Activities Department for appointment as Director General, Sports Authority of Gujarat, Gandhinagar.
