Bavku Udhad resigns from Congress and state assembly,rejoins BJP

As we hinted way back in December last year, four-time MLA Bavkubhai Undhad has rejoined BJP today. Bavkubhai was among the Keshubhai group rebels who left the party ahead of year 2007 assembly polls against Narendra Modi. Bavkubhai fought the assembly polls on Congress ticket and won in 2007 and 2012. Bavkubhai has resigned from membership of Congress party and also from the post of MLA. Thus there will be a by-election in six months in Bavkubhai’s constituency.
