President appoints Narendra Modi as PM, oath ceremony on 26 May at 6.00 pm

The President of India has invited BJP/NDA parliamentary party/front leader Narendra Modi to form government in centre. After meeting the President, Shri Narendra Modi spoke to media persons for a while and showed them an invitation letter handed over to him by President. Shri Modi said he would take oath as 14th Prime Minister of India on 26th of May at 6.00 pm.
It should be mentioned that Shri Modi’s swearing-in ceremony will be held in Rashtrapati Bhawan’s campus in presence of about 3,000 invited guests. Lastly Shri Atal Bihar Vajpayee has took oath in open ground of Rashtrapati Bhawan in 1999. Dr. Manmohan Singh choose to take oath inside Durbar hall of Rashtrapati Bhawan that has limited capacity to host the guests.
