Sterling Port to invest Rs 4,060 crore in Dahej port, signs pact with GMB

Gujarat Maritime Board (GMB) has entered into a concession agreement with Sterling Port Ltd for the development of Dahej port on 18 June, GMB said in a media statement today.
The port project which involves investment of about Rs.4,060 crore in 10-12 years will be operational in next two-three years according to Chetan Sandesara, promoter in Sterling Port Ltd, the company promoted by Vadodara-based Sandesara group that has 25% equity stake by Sterling Biotech Ltd, the group’s flagship company listed on BSE.
