Gujarat govt grants further extension to Chief Secretary Varesh Sinha

The Government of Gujarat has given extension of service to Dr. Varesh Sinha, IAS(Gujarat cadre 1977), Chief Secretary of Gujarat for a period of 3 months beyond the date of his attaining the age of superannuation on 30.4.2014(afternoon), i.e. upto 31 July 2014.
After obtaining the prior approval of the Government of India, Department of Personnel and Training, New Delhi, the Government of Gujarat has granted further extension of service to Dr. Varesh Sinha in same post for a further period of 3 months with effect from 1 August 2014 upto 31 October 2014.
This means Shri Sinha who was to retire on 30 April and was given extension of three months has now got further extension and will retire on 31 October this year.
