Air Force Jaguar plane crashed near Nakhatrana in Kutch

Indian Air Force Jaguar fighter plane crashed today near Bibar village of Nakhatrana area of Kutch district in Gujarat. Pilot ejected safely. Nakhatrana police station confirmed that plane had crashed. They said police officers were on way to the place of incident. The plane crashed at 12.06 pm, 26 minutes after take off from Bhuj. It was a routine training mission.
Meanwhile the Government of India’s official note says: One Jaguar fighter aircraft of Indian Air Force (IAF) crashed at about 1206 hrs 30 Kms north of Bhuj, today. The pilot, who was airborne from Bhuj at 1140 hrs, was on a flying training mission and has ejected safely. There is no reported damage on the ground. A Court of Inquiry has been ordered to investigate into the cause of the accident.
