Shahid Jawan Jignesh Patel given Guard of honor at Ahmedabad airport

Gujarat’s son, CRPF jawan Jignesh Patel was killed on Saturday in an exchange of fire with naxals in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh. His dead body was brought to Ahmedabad today where guard of honor was given to him at the airport.
Jignesh died at Murdanda village under the Avapalli police limits when a CRPF patrol team from 168th battalion were proceeding for a road-opening. Naxals opened indiscriminate fire on CRPF team leaving Jignesh Patel, one of the jawans in CRPF team dead.
The security personnel also fired in retaliation. The face-off continued for a while following which jawan Jignesh Patel was killed on the spot.
Jignesh’s body will be cremated at his village Kukadiyada. He will be given salute and guard of honor in his village too.
