Police complaint filed against Teesta Setlvad at three places in Gujarat

Complaints against Teesta Setalvad are just raining across India. After Goa, Kolkata and Delhi, three complaints are filed against Teesta Setalvad at three different places in Gujarat – Ghatlodia in Ahmedabad, Gomtipur in Ahmedabad and ‘C’ division police station in Bhavnagar.
Two complaints are filed by Vishwa Hindu Parishad(VHP) workers. Shri Rajubhai Patel, Secretary of city unit of VHP has filed complaint in Ghatlodia police station in Ahmedabad while VHP General Secretary Kirit Mistry has filed complaint in Bhavnagar ‘C’ division police station. Police complaint in Gomtipur is filed by a Shiv Sena worker.
Police complaint against so-called social activist Teesta Setalvad are filed in connection with her tweet containing derogatory and defamatory pictures of Hindu God – Lord Krishna and Goddess Maa Kali.
Meanwhile in Delhi, the state media chief of VHP aid that, “we were receiving a lot of complaints throughout the country about highly objectionable tweet showing our God and Goddess as terrorist. Our secretary general quickly called on Delhi police to arrest the lady immediately and charge her under severe sections of the IPC and CRPC. The case has been registered under DD NO. 66 B in Paharganj police station in central Delhi. We expect that the police will act quickly and judiciously to avoid any outbreak of sentiments. If, the police fails to understand its seriousness, we may approach the higher authorities to punish the culprit, he added”.
