Yes it is true that such stories do round on social media without any basis, but this case has happened in reality with citizen Hardik Dave. On 25th October 2014 Dave and his family visited McDonald restaurant at Vijay Char rasta in Ahmedabad. Normally one would just drink a closed cup through straw at McDonald, but here when a kid opened the lid to have ice, he was shocked to find cockroach inside the cup. Later when the family visited kitchen area of restaurant to have a first hand view of cleanliness, they were shocked to find cockroaches freely roaming there. A complaint has been filed in Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation’s Health department, but there’s no proper action taken so far.
