Rajkot becomes playground for criminals, firing in daylight, financier injured

Rajkot, 2 November 2014

There’s a news of another incident of firing in Rajkot. The incident today took place at Kalavad road where financier Shaktiraj was shot at by an unidentified shooter in broad daylight on public road. Shooter has been captured in CCTV camera. Shaktiraj has been hospitalized with serious head injury. Attackers came in Santro car that had no number plate.

Author’s note: Once called Rangilu Rajkot, the city has been turned into playground for mafias who are mainly associated with illegal dealings of land and finance. Such mafias are well connected to local politicians and police men mainly on caste-linked relations. Hardly 1% victims dare to complain due to fear of nexus of goons+police+politicians.

Rajkot based reader of DeshGujarat adds: Community wise gangs(mainly four communities) are having free run in Rajkot and its just not limited to some parts of city, but entire district is in their grip. Such gangs enjoy patronage of ruling party politicians and local police.
