Bhuj, 20 November 2014

Even after their best efforts, Border Security Force(BSF) jawans failed to solve the mystery of a Pakistani boat found at Mal creek, two km away from Sir Creek, in Indian territorial waters.

Unmanned boat found by BSF in the wee hours on Tuesday. BSF first asked those in boat(if any) to surrender, but no response was received. When BSF jawans went closer with all protection, they found noone with boat. Fishes, ice box and net were found inside the boat.

Even after hours of search operation in nearby area, noone was found there.

In 1999 in similar incident, an unmanned boat was found in this area, and later when BSF carried out search operation with the help of footprint experts, RDX, live cartridge, Pakistani phone number diary and other material was found near Virani hill.

Mal creek has history of presence and arrests of Pakistani fishermen who come here for fishing from nearby Jam Khan in Sindh province of Pakistan.
