Great excitement in Vadodara for Morari Bapu’s Ram Katha, beginning today

Shri Morari Bapu’s Ram Katha begins today at Navlakhi ground in Vadodara.
Katha mandap size is 7 lakh sq ft, while meal arrangements are made in 5 lakh sq ft area. A large area of 20 lakh sq ft has allotted to parking.
There’s great excitement in Vadodara for Morari Bapu’s katha as it is happening in this city after a gap of 14 years.
For the first time ‘Ram Garba'(not Ras Garba) event has been organized during katha. Globally famous Garba singer Shri Atul Purohit and his group will sing ‘Ram Garba’ on 28 December at 6.00 pm. The organizers have arranged 22 lakh sqft area for parking to prevent any possible situation of traffic jam before and after this event.
Shri Morari Bapu’s kutir has been set up near Sevasi Mahpura.
Banners featuring quotations have been put up in katha mandap. Origin of the name of Vadodara is in the word ‘Vad'(Banyan tree). Morari Bapu’s katha stage therefore features a banyan tree made using 1400 kg fiber.
Local bus transport service VITCOS has announced special buses to katha venue at every five minute interval.
Katha session today will take place during 4-7 pm while from tomorrow it will take place daily during 9.30 am-1.30 pm till 28 December.
This is Morari Bapu’s 748th Ram Katha. It is organized by Chimanlal Girdharlal Doshi(Mahuva) family.
