Medha Patkar Complaint Illegal Donations NCCL by Milind Arolkar
Ahmedabad based National Council for Civil Liberty has alleged that controversial NGO operator Medha Patkar is forcefully collecting Rs 5000 20 Kg Grains as donations from the poor villagers of Madhya Pradesh in the name of fighting cases. The controversial lady who lost Lok Sabha poll on Aam Aadmi Party ticket last year has already virtually blacklisted by the Supreme Court in 2011 for filing false Affidavits in the Court. In his letter to the Prime Minister sent on 20 December 2014, NCCL president annexed the copies of 3 statements given by residents of Umda Village in Jobat tehsil in Madhya Prades and requested Prime Minister to direct the Madhya Pradesh Govt to institute an inquiry into this, to ascertain the total amount so far collected by them and its utilization.
