Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation(AMC) run MJ Library will put ten famous Gujarati books online this year. The books are: Jay Somnath, Pruthvi Vallabh, Saraswatichandra, Sat Pagla Akashma, Manvini Bhavai, Madhav Kyay Nathi Madhuvanma, Patan ni Prabhuta, Gujarat no Nath and Rajadhiraj Kautilya. Rs. 2 lakh budget has been allotted in annual budget for this purpose.

MJ Library will hold Pandit Dindayal Upadhyay lecture series this year for which Rs. 5 lakh amount has been allotted.

Inter-school debate competition, exhibition featuring famous authors of Gujarat, audio publishing of popular Gujarati literature for blinds, modern property counter are other items mentioned in annual budget for year 2015-16 which is 10.4 crore.
