New Delhi
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is being criticized for several reasons on first day of his rule.
1. Kejriwal cabinet has not a single woman as minister.
2. Kejriwal has not kept even a single portfolio/department with self. He is being questioned as CM without work for Delhi which is not even full state! One commentator on social media described him as true inheritor of madam Sonia Gandhi’s legacy.
3. In such a small state – almost a city-like state which is actually not full state has not just Chief Minister but also a Deputy Chief Minister, a post which is not mandatory.
4. Kejriwal in his speech after taking oath asked the media to show restraint and give his government time rather than asking for a deadline to implement all its promises. Various news channels are criticizing him on this point.
5. Kejriwal could take oath simply, but he hired a large ground. Big LED screens were installed. On social media this is being criticized.
6. Due to his personal health reasons, he could not hold cabinet meeting today and left the office after taking charge. In his speech, Kejriwal said he was here on stage after taking a pill. Kejriwal is suffering from fever for last few days. He however said his government would work for 24 hours to make Delhi a corruption free state and fulfill all promises.
