181 ‘Abhayam Mahila’ helpline to cover entire Gujarat

Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel will launch the statewide women’s helpline service 181 ’Abhayam Mahila’ Helpline Service on the occasion of International Women’s Day at a function at the town hall here on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at 11 a.m. for on-the-spot assistance to protect them.
The service already started in Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar and Surat jointly by the State Women’s & Children’s Department and Home Department, is now being extended to the entire state.
Minister for Women & Children Vasuben Trivedi, Minister of State for Home Rajnibhai Patel and Women’s Commission Chairperson Leelaben Ankolia will be present on the occasion.
