Son of Gujarat Minister under scanner

Son and body guard of Minister of State for Animal Husbandry, Government of Gujarat Parshottam Solanki are under scanner following a police complaint filed by Sujal Chandrakant Shah in Gandhinagar today.
Sujal works as manager in Vada panv parlor in sector 21. He was thrashed and beaten up by three persons who had arrived there in Toyota Innova car. Locals have identified the attackers as Minister Parshottam Solanki’s son and body guards. However police has filed complaint against three unidentified persons. RTO registration number of Innova car has been given to police.
The entire incident is captured in CCTV, footage of which has been handed over to police.
Sujal who has been admitted in hospital told media persons that when he was standing outside Ashok Pan Parlor, a person whom people later identified as Minister Solanki’s son arrived. As a manager of shop, Sujal asked what he would like to have. This made Solanki’s son angry according to Sujal and in reaction he said, “that’s not your business, who are you to ask that.”
Brief verbal argument resulted into full scale fight which was one sided, as Solanki’s son had two persons with him, one of them has been identified by locals as Solanki’s body guard.
Sujal was thrashed and attacked with baseball bet. He was kicked and punched for minutes.
According to Sujal’s father Chandrakant Shah, Sujal never fights with anyone. Shah said he has filed complaint with fear as suspect is Minister’s son.
Meanwhile Minister of State for Home, Government of Gujarat, Rajnikantbhai Patel in reply to media persons said that the incident has been recorded in CCTV and whoever is found involved will face police procedure.
