Indo-China agreements: Gujarat to get Skill development & Entrepreneurship institute

Among 24 MoUs signed between India and China today in presence of Indian Prime Minister and Chinese Premier, one MoU mentions Gujarat.
The MoU has been titled as ‘Action Plan on cooperation in setting up of Mahatma Gandhi National Institute for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship in Ahmedabad/Gandhinagar Gujarat.’
The agreement in this regard was signed in presence of Gujarat Chief Minister, Ahmedabad Mayor, Indian Prime Minister and Chinese Premier in Beijing.
Also, GIFT city in Gujarat and Shenzhen in China have been identified as pilot smart cities to initiate cooperation in development of smart cities.
