Family rescued on causeway opposite Machhu dam (Video)

As there was surplus water inflow at Machhu – 2 dam near Morbi, gates were opened to release water. A causeway located next to the dam therefore submerged with water flowing atop. A family though advised not to cross the causeway continued to drive through, but due to speedy flow of water, the car couldn’t be controlled by gentleman on driving seat. At the middle of causeway he took decision to leave the car with family. How they were safely taken to the end of the causeway is captured in this mobile video sent to us by our reader. For this entire rescue exercise, water release was decreased by dam engineer for some time.
