Trivikram Swarup of Dwarkadhish Mandir Murti explained

The murti of Lord Krishna at Dwarkadhish main temple in Dwarka town of Gujarat is built in ‘Trivikram’ swarup.
If you aren’t aware about why this murti is called ‘Trivikram’ swarup, this short article will help you to understand it.
Every murti of Bhagwan Vishnu features (1) Shankh, (2) Chakra, (3)Gada and (4) Padma in four hands.
There are 24 types of murtis of Vishnu as per Rupmandan. Each swarup is different from other due to the reason mentioned in the list below:

In entire Dwarka town, there are various mandirs housing various types of murtis of Vishnu. Majority of them are however in Trivikram swarup.
They are at Trivikram Mandir near Ratneshwar, Suryamandir near Kruklas kunda, Giridhargopal mandir on the bank of river Gomti, Narsinhji mandir on Chhappan sidi, Kolva bhagat mandir in main mandir and Pradhyumna mandir in main mandir. 
Even in Bet Dwarka, the mandirs of Dwarkadhishji, Trivikramrayji, Kalyanrayji, Purushottamji, Madhavrayji and SakshiGopal have Trivikram swarup murtis.
Then in some mandirs there are also Keshav, Vishnu, Madhav, Purushottamji, Vaman, Narayann, Shri Krushna, Upendra, Pradyumna and Narsimh murtis.
Even the murti at Ranchhodrayji Mandir in Dwarka has Trivikram swarup. In this temple, lower right hand is on upper side. Similarly in Dwarka’s Mirabai mandir, murti’s lower left hand is on upper side.
