Surat: Surat based Ventura Airconnect will start Surat – Amreli daily flight service from Dussehra this year. As many as 2127 tickets are already booked for Diwali vacation period on this route. Promoters of Ventura Air Govind Dholakia, Lalji Patel, Savji Dholakia and Lavji Badshah held meeting with Surat based community leaders from Amreli and appealed them to utilize the new air service maximum. During Diwali vacation, thousands of people originally from Amreli but settled in Surat mostly for diamond business/jobs travel to their native village/towns in Amreli district. The intra-state airline already operates from Surat connecting Ahmedabad, Kandla and other places.
