NRI UK citizen found dead in Rajkot Bus Station

Rajkot: A 60 year old NRI, born in Nairobi of Kenya and settled in London of the UK, was found dead in the ST bus station here this morning.
Police said the body of Dinesh A Shingadia, who prima facie seemed to have died of heart attack, was found from platform number 5 of the bus station.
Cash in Indian currency including old 500/1000 notes worth around 52000 and his British Passport/Visa and some clothes were found from his possession.
His travel visa was effective from July 6 this year and was to expire on July 5 next year. A person who runs canteen in the bus station said that the man had told him that he ran a shoe shop in London and had come to India for pilgrimage and had so far visited Mathura and other such places and also completed the Parikrama of Girnar in Junagadh some time ago.
Police was trying to contact his family members through the UK embassy based on the address printed on his passport.
