Gujarat CM inaugurates lodging-boarding house at Ambika Mata temple in Vadiyavir

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani today inaugurated the lodging and boarding house attached to the Mahant Buddhigiriji Shitalhirji Maharaj Janseva Pratishthan on the 6th Patotsav of the Ambika Mata Mandir and unveiled the golden dome of the temple at Vadiyavir village in Idar taluka in Sabarkantha district.
Speaking on the occasion, he said worshipping deities like Amba-Durga and Santoshi Mata to demolish demonic forces and respecting women’s prowess has been India’s tradition, linked to social fabric and norms. Gujarat is in the forefront of religion and culture alongside development. He said that his government is committed to keep the society united.
Mr. Rupani said that his government has taken 125 decisions in 100 days, 160 decisions in 200 days to provide corruption-free transparent and sensitive, decisive and dynamic governance through Seva Setu like programmes with the mantra of ‘Sauno Sath, Sauno Vikas’, creating an impression of pro-people administration. He regretted that certain elements are trying to create class conflict but their mala fide intentions have been exposed.
Gujarat Assembly Speaker Ramanlal Vora hailed the Janseva Pratishthan’s ‘Save Girl’ campaign, besides social and educational activities.
The Mahant explained the historic importance of the ancient Bileshwar Mahadev and Ambika Mata temples. He handed over a cheque of Rs. one lakh to the Chief Minister for Cleanliness Campaign and Soldiers Relief Fund.
Those present on the occasion included District Guardian and Transport Minister Vallabhbhai Kakadiya, MP Deepsinh Rathod, MLA Rajubhai Chavda, BJP District Unit President J.D. Patel and government officers.
