Gandhinagar: As many as 15,541 students were given Rs 51.22 crore assistance under Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavlamban Yojana. Today total 250 students were presented over Rs 2 crore assistance for education in a function at Knowledge Consortium of Gujarat in presence of education minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama.

Chudasama in his address said: those bright students who don’t get admission in government college of educational institutions and at the same time they can’t afford higher fees in private institutes of higher education have been provided a solution by the state government through this scheme.

He further said that the state government is going to recruit 67,000 youths this year in government jobs. At the same time the government is also holding mega job fairs in various districts to ensure that youths get jobs.
