3 candidates elected unopposed in municipality by-polls: Gujarat BJP

Gandhinagar: Gujarat BJP today claimed that 3 BJP candidates have been victorious unopposed in municipality by-polls voting for which is going to be held on 2nd April.

State party president Jitubhai Vaghanai said, the by-polls are to be held for 16 vacant seats in 14 municipalities. The last date of filing nominations was 15 March. The party has won 3 of 16 seats unopposed. They are Gitaben patel in ward number 2 of Sanand, Hidayatullakhan Chhotekhan Pathan in ward number 4 of Mahudha and Pankajbhai Patel in ward number 8 of Vallabhvidyanagar municipality.

PAAS conveners join BJP: BJYM

Gujarat BJP today claimed that Anklav taluka convener of Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti(PAAS) Shri Nayan Rajnikant Patel and 10 other PAAS conveners have joined Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha(BJYM) today.


Vijayotsav to be celebrated on 18 March

Gujarat BJP spokesperson Shri Bharat Pandya today said that the State BJP will celebrate ‘Vijayotsav’ on Saturday, March 18 in Gujarat at all Shaktikendras and Municipal Corporation wards in presence of MPs, MLAs, elected members in local bodies of self governance, cooperative sector members and large number of party workers to thank the citizens of all five states that went to polls recently, especially those in Utatar Pradesh and Uttarakhand who elected BJP with 3/4th majority and also to express faith and trust in Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s leadership.
