Surat: Sharad Pawar led Nationalist Congress Party(NCP) will be holding a public meeting in Ahmedabad on April 13. The location of NCP’s first public meeting ahead of Gujarat assembly general elections 2017 will be Khodiarnagar char rasta Chepi rog hospital road in Baherampura area. On eve of Dr Ambedkar’s 126th birth anniversary, NCP leader and Rajya Sabha member Praful Patel will pay floral tribute at Dr Ambedkar’s statue here before addressing public meeting nearby. Praful Patel, Jayant Patel, Nawab Malik(former minister in Maharashtra), Habib Sheikh are among those who are going to address the public meeting. NCP has earlier held public meeting in Varachha area of Surat in South Gujarat in recent past.
