Somnath: New incharge of Gujarat unit of ruling Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) Bhupendra Yadav today while addressing the second and the last day of Gujarat BJP state executive meeting at Somnath said the BJP now forms governments with 3/4th majority compared to 2/3rd majority that party workers used to discuss earler.
Yadav was on his first visit to Gujarat as state party incharge. He was appointed incharge of Gujarat BJP early this week by national president of party Amit Shah. Yadav replaces Dr Dinesh Sharma who has recently become deputy chief minister of Uttar Pradesh.
Addressing the state executive meet Yadav said, ‘this new responsibility is part of the party system. Party is expanding its horizons under PM Modi and chief Amit Shah. Due to irresponsible rule and working style of Congress, India couldn’t achieve desired progress in so many years. Prime Minister Modi has done so much to eliminate poverty. Earlier we used to talk about 2/3rd majority, but now we form governments with 3/4th majority. We have taken same pledge here in Gujarat.’
