Will play a big-role in Gujarat assembly polls: Shankersinh Vaghela
July 21, 2017
Gandhinagar: After announcing to quit Congress on his birthday today, Shankersinh Vaghela has said that though he has distanced himself from party-politics yet he would play a big role in this year’s assembly election in Gujarat.
Talking to media persons he said that he would play a big role in elections.
‘I certainly will have a role, a big-role in the coming election,’ the veteran leader said.
To a query regarding the possibility of his joining NCP, he replied in negative saying that he had left big parties like BJP and Congress and said good bye to party politics then why would he join a smaller party.
He also said that he has not retired from public life.
He also alleged that the state congress leaders did not show patience yesterday.
‘They could not wait till my return from Delhi. I might have myself declared Solanki as the next CM candidate,’ he said.
