BJP plans two yatras; PM to attend a grand concluding function Gujarat Gaurav Sammelan on October 16

Ahmedabad: Ruling Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP)’s two Yatras will proceed from Porbandar and Karamsad in the month of October.
Yatra from Karmasad will be flagged off by party’s national president Amit Shah.
Porbandar is located in Saurashtra and it is birth place of Mahatma Gandhi, Karamsad is native place of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and it is located in Central Gujarat.
Yatras will take place from Karamsad on 1st October and from Porbandar on 2nd October.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the concluding function of yatra on October 16 in Ahmedabad in presence of around five to ten lakh people just before Diwali(on 19th October).
The yatras are likely to cover as many as 145 assembly seat areas in total length of 4599 km.
Gujarat assembly polls that are likely to take place in upcoming month of December. Announcement of dates and imposition of model code of conduct will happen in October.
