Gandhinagar: In a reply to question asked in the assembly, the State government has shared the detail that in last two years 10,838 persons committed suicide of which highest 1953 were in Surat followed by 1,791 in Ahmdabad, 1,616 in Rajkot. None person committed suicide in last two years in Devbhumi Dwarka district, the reply reveals. In reply to another question the government said, the State witnessed 2,033 murders in last two years among which the highest 267 were in Surat followed by Ahmedabad at 241.
