Luvawada:

Police today arrested a Deputy Mamlatdar here in connection with a complaint filed by a lady alleging that he had sexually exploited and raped her.

Police said that Deputy Mamlatdar Jayesh Pandya, who was posted in the election section of Mahisagar district collector office, has been arrested.

A lady had filed a complaint that Pandya who had promised to marry her had sexually exploited and raped her several times.

Investigation is on to find out whether there’s truth in lady’s complaint.
