Jamnagar:

Another case of alleged Love-jehad has come to fore in Dhrol town of Jamnagar district of Gujarat where an around 34 year old Muslim man has ran away with a 22 year old Hindu girl days before her marriage.

The boy had again fled with the girl from the sub-registrar office in Jamnagar yesterday on seeing the family members of the girl there and their protest.

According to a complaint lodged by the family members of the girl Monaben Rathod (changed name), Isho Rafiq Shahmadar resident of Mochi bazar in Dhrol had fled with the girl on March 7. The family members had filed a missing report in the beginning. The girl was to marry a boy from her own community from Amreli district on March 12.

Later the family members came to know that the man had filed a petition for marriage with the girl in Jamnagar sub-registrar office the same day. The uncle of the girl filed a protest to it. When Isho arrived in the office here yesterday he saw the family members of the girl and the marriage could not be registered owing to the protest.

In the meantime Isho again ran away with the girl and his 4 to 5 accomplices in a car.

The family members of the girl have approached the police.
