The Border Security Force (BSF) has nabbed a Pakistani boat with a fisherman from the neighbouring country from Haramil Nala area adjoining Kutch district of Guajrat.
Spokesperson of BSF and Deputy Commandent Abhay Shah said that the boat and the Pakistani onboard, identified as one Mustaq (32) resident of Jati in Sindh province of Pakistan was nabbed by BSF patrol team in early morning today.
The boat is a small one fitted with Chinese fan as make-shift propeller.
Nothing suspicious has been found from him. Some fish caught in the sea-food rich area and fish-catching equipment have been recovered from him. He is under interrogation by various agencies as a precautionary measure. Later he would handed over to the Narayan Sarovar police station, Shah added.
Notably, many such boats are often caught in the marshy creek area where Pakistani fishermen enter secretly especially during night of wee hours to catch fish and prawns.
As the BSF vigil has been intensified to check any terror infiltration through sea, the boat has again been caught.
