School, colleges, university, govt, semi govt, local body offices to remain shut on Friday

Gandhinagar: The Government of India has announced 7-day mourning from 16th August to 22nd August after Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s death. The national flag will fly half-mast.The former prime minister will be accorded a state funeral tomorrow.
The Government of Gujarat today evening said, it has also declared 7-day mourning during 16-22 August. The national flag will fly half-mast during this period.
As Shri Atalji’s funeral is going to take place today, the State government has declared holiday in government, semi government, local self governance bodies, schools and university departments.
