Battery operated vehicles service for visitors in Kankaria lake front

Ahmedabad: Soon there will be battery operated vehicles for transportation of visitors within Kankaria lake front in city. The vehicles will operate in lake front area for visitors. Battery operated vehicles will have specific locations from where they can be hired. The lake front area has 2.3 km periphery. Ticket cost effective will be Rs 10 to Rs. 25. The service will kick off tomorrow. AMC will get 59% of ticket revenue while rest of the income will go to private operator.
