Kankaria Lake Front to have bullet-train lookalike AC train

Ahmedabad: One of major attractions for visitors, especially the children at Kankaria lake front is Atal Express train which is operated on circular route around the lake. With launching of annual edition of Kankaria Carnival from December 25, another(third) train will be launched at lake front for visitor. This latest train is modeled on proposed Ahmedabad – Mumbai high speed train(bullet train). It is air conditioned train. It has four coaches. It has been manufactured under make in India concept at a cost of Rs. 4 crore. This is the first AC train in any amusement park in India. The train operates through hydraulic system. There are two ACs installed. Emergency switch has been given in each coach to notify the engine driver about emergency. Material used in this train is fire resistant upto 120 degree temperature. Each coach will have 36-seat capacity.
