Gujarat Chief Minister asks collectors to dispose NA clearances online in 8-10 days

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani today directed the district collectors to dispose NA clearances online within 8-10 days and handover the approval letters as part of the government’s decisive working style. Earlier it was cleared in 90 days’ time limit.

Addressing the Review Meeting of District Collectors Performance from CM Dashboard Control Wall at his official residence here, he exuded confidence that online disposal would simplify and revolutionize the revenue department working, even as fast-track disposal would introduce competition among pro-active collectors to clear more disposals, and reduce pendency of cases. He asked them to ensure minimum rejection. As to ongoing scanning of 7/12 document, he stressed on the need to remain technically alert.

The meeting discussed the prevailing availability of water and fodder situation and providing jobs under MNREGA in the entire state, and particularly in 96 talukas in drought-hit districts like Kutch, Patan, Banaskantha and Surendranagar. He asked the collectors to collect the input subsidy forms by January 5 and extend the latest assistance announced on hectare basis.

Rupani directed the agriculture department and the district administration to complete purchasing groundnut and other crops at MSP by January 30. He asked the collectors to keep the list of beneficiaries and keep the system transparent
and ready for the state-wide Garib Kalyan Mela scheduled to begin from January 3.

Those present on the occasion included Revenue Minister Kaushikbhai Patel, Chief Secretary J.N. Singh, Chief Minister’s Chief Principal Secretary Kailashnathan, Principal Secretary M.K. Das and Secretaries of concerned departments.
