Gujarat ACB nabs Surveyor and Estate Inspector of AMC taking bribe of Rs 50,000

Ahmedabad: The Anti Corruption Bureau (ABC) of Gujarat Police today nabbed a surveyor and an estate inspector of the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation here red handed taking a bribe of Rs 50000/- from a person for letting him take possession of his land spread in two survey plots in Vatva area.
Police said that Surveyor class 3 Mukesh Gandalala Parmar, resident of Chandkheda and Estate Inspector class 2 Mayank B Mistry, resident of Naranpura were nabbed during a trap by the ABC from a cloth printing factory in Navapura in Vatva area.
They had demanded the bribe for survey and letting the owner of the land in Vatva area take its possession.
