Amit Shah to file nomination for Gandhinagar Lok Sabha seat on March 30; Rajnath, Gadkari, Uddhav, Badal, others may attend a grand procession/mega road show on this occasion

Gandhinagar: Ruling Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) has announced a grand procession cum road show on March 30th when party’s national president and son of soil Amitbhai Shah will be here to file nomination form as BJP candidate for Gandhinagar Lok Sabha seat.
According to a statement issued by State BJP, a mega road show will kick off at 9.00 am in presence of thousands of party workers, saints and leading citizens.
The mega road show will begin at the statue of Sardar Patel in Naranpura area which is located near old residence of Shah.
The road show will pass through Pallav char rasta, Shastrinagar, Prabhat chowk and conclude at Patidar chowk. The length of this route is 4 km.
After the road show, Shah will reach capital Gandhinagar where BJP workers will form human chain between sector 6/7 bus stand and Pathikashram to welcome Shah.
Shah will reach district collector office and file nomination form.
A rehearsal of this road show/procession was held today in presence of party leaders.
Media persons were told on this occasion that former party chief Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari (both of them union ministers), Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray, Akali Dal leader Badal and other NDA leaders are likely to join the road-show/procession. The road show event will be treated as national level programme of party.
