Ahmedabad: The Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) on Monday demolished an illegally constructed ‘Blue Roof Top Cafe Restaurant Bistro’ on the terrace of a 9-storey building Shri Balaji Heights, located off CG Road. The cafe facility was built over 400 square meter space. An additional floor was created in order to set up this illegal facility according to AMC.

AMC teams also removed illegal shades of Goras restaurant, Southland restaurant and Kathiawadi restaurant in Sardar Patel Stadium ward.

AMC has issued final notices to the buildings namely White House, Center Point, Shitiratna, Span Trade Centre, Yash Aqua, Rudra Complex and Fairdeal House to fulfill necessary provisions of fire safety norms and get No Objection Certificate (NOC).
