42 talukas see rain till 10 pm today, met issues heavy rain warning for two more days

Gandhinagar: Even as rains remained somewhat moderate in Gujarat today with only 42 talukas seeing rain from 6 am to 10 pm and highest rainfall being 56 mm in Vallabhipur taluka of Bhavnagar district, met has issued heavy rainfall warning for tomorrow and the day after.
The met bulletin today said that under the influence of an upper air cyclonic circulation over South Gujarat and neighbourhood between 2.1 to 5.8 km above mean sea level there will be more rain.
The heavy rain warning is as following –
July 3:and 4 – Heavy rains at isolated places very likely in the districts of South Gujarat region namely Valsad, Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli.
Meanwhile among other prominent rain getter talukas today are Unjha in Mahesana 55mm, Barvala in Botad district and Saraswati in Patan 50 mm each, Umrala in Bhavnagar 44mm, Umergam in Valsad 41mm and Patan 39 mm.
In the last 24 hours ending at 6 am today a total of 23 talukas in 11 districts had seen rain with Umergam seeing the highest of 109mm.
